            Delegate Fast moves to amend the bill on page two, section twenty-one, line twenty-one, immediately following the words “wish to” by striking the words “preserve their mechanic's lien rights pursuant to this article” and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“to avoid affirmative defenses provided pursuant to this section and subsection (c) of section thirty-four of this article.”
